One of the many classes offered at the Houston Street Center.

With the dynamic and varied uses that we envision for the Houston Street Center will come many opportunities for volunteers and others to share their unique talents with members of our community. University Settlement is pleased to accept credentials — for future use by the Settlement or by visiting groups — from qualified individuals who are interested in leading classes at the Center in a variety of disciplines from fitness to the arts. In addition to paid staff, there are many exciting opportunities for volunteers of all ages to support the Center's programs and operations. For more information, please contact Lisa Kwock at 212-475-5008 x. 320 or by email at lisak@universitysettlement.org.
